The Eco Construction Skillnet may from time to time be in a position to offer free of charge places to the unemployed on some of its training courses. To qualify as unemployed you must be registered with the Department of Social Protection and be in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance or Jobseekers Benefit or, in the case of former sole traders/small business owners, must have formally notified the Dept of Social Protection that you have ceased trading. It should also be noted that attendance on Eco Construction Skillnet training courses does not impact on your benefits.
